Here’s our guide for all you boys and girls wanting to get fitter this summer.

Get a Glasgow Young Scot Card and use it to get a six month Glasgow Club GYM membership for only £32 (that’s less than £6 per month)

Get down to your local GLASGOW CLUB leisure centre and start getting fitter. Here are some fitness options once you have your Glasgow Club GYM membership:

Swimming Workouts
The health benefits of swimming are massive! Swimming is not only a fun activity; it tones your entire body, provides an excellent cardiovascular workout, strengthens your heart muscle and improves delivery of oxygen to your muscles. 

Gym Workouts
You will get a free induction where an instructor will show you how to work all the different machines in the gym, once you have tried them all you will have a better idea of what you like. Ask the instructor to put together a FREE personal programme to help you reach your fitness goals.

Fitness Class Workouts
If you aren’t sure what class would suit you - see below for our description. 

Body Pump:
(Age 16yrs+):
Workout using weights to music helping increase your metabolism & improve your body shape.

Body Combat:
(Age 14yrs+):
Martial arts based class to music helping you punch & kick your way to fitness.

Body Step:
(Age 14yrs+):
Kill calories; improve your heart & lungs and tone your legs and bum with this high intensity workout using a step platform. 

Body Balance:
(Age 14yrs+):
Movements and stretches to music, helping you relax, increase flexibility & improve posture. 

Circuits:
(Age 14yrs+):
A great overall workout class based on interval training, aimed at improving muscle strength & endurance.

Body Attack:
(Age 14yrs+):
This energetic aerobics class combines dynamic moves with exciting music.

Body Jam: 
(Age 14yrs+):
A dance workout mixing hip hop, funk & Latin music. You’ll need some rhythm for this one.
